Wood golf clubs. Not Tiger. But some classics and a look at antiques.
February 12th, 2009Wood golf clubs for fun and collecting
Modern times have the latest advanced material for making golf clubs. Polymer graphite and other fancy names. Let’s get back to the roots of the game of golf, wood. From Scotland to Japan most golfers know of someone that swears by their antique or near fifty 9 iron wood handled beauty, or puts a par 3 to and end with a old wood handled putter. I know I use one. I sixty year old wood handled brass putter. And it works for me.
Woods and what to look for.

This type of golf club has a large head and a long shaft that allows maximum club speed since its purpose is to drive the ball a great distance down the fairway and into the hole. On the other hand, an iron golf club, which was originally made from cast iron, comes with a flat-angled face and a shorter shaft that allows flexibility for shots that approach the green or handle difficult lies, including the rough, over or through the trees, or at the base of the hills. More on hybrid golf clubs.
February 12th, 2009
Hybrids work that is all there is too it
Hybrid golf clubs. Just get onto the course and see what happens. You will swing better. And hit a ball farther. The shafts are made of the latest material. And they work great for alot of different golfers. Now there are people that will swear that these are not real golf clubs. I say they are wrong. These have been the natural merging of technology, material and are in harmony with golfing as a game and sport. If a person enjoys the game better with a set of hybrid clubs then more power to them.
Picking Golf Clubs To Complement Your Playing Technique
If you are in the market choosing certain types of clubs can help. What I notice is my swing and the height of a club. With hybrids I think I have not noticed that much of a difference since I started using them. This I am sure will be different for alot of golfers. One of the things you want to remember is picking the right length. The traditional way to determine the proper length for almost any person is to measure from their navel to the ground when they are standing straight up. Read the rest of this entry »

Continuing on finding that set of cheap golf clubs
Welcome to The Hackers Paradise These guys make golfing fun. I enjoy visiting because his reports on golf clubs and the latest golf gear really stand out. The articles are informative and the details are laid out in a easy to use. If you are looking to find out about the latest in golf news this is a comfortable place. The latest contribution for Callaway clubs reminded me of my friend who has his own set. The price is not the least expensive. But you have to be willing to pay for a better golf club set. And those golf clubs are worth the money in my opinion. Cheap golf club sets are for anyone who likes golf and is still a penny pincher. Or for the less purist type like I over heard this golfer on the course say, “I can play a great game with a cheap golf club set and avoid spending that much”. To my knowledge he did have a powerful swing and played a good game on par with a set of older Pings that he inherited from a relative.
Know for the rest of us that are looking to buy a set that is not expensive but works well and has all the quality I recommend checking out used golf club sets at flexsivity.com here you will find offers on sale on the internets leading auction site (ebay) and for someone looking for deals on new sets you can check out our affliate suppliers located on our blog site. Everything for a golfer that is looking for cheaper ways of golfing without a loss of quality. Now do not get to thinking that I like golf clubs because of price. I am willing to pay for proven technology. Although for people on a budget I can totally understand the need for finding a lower price. If you can get it why not? I guess if you are a professional you get sponsered and know what to look for and price is not a matter. For the guys and gals just looking for a golf club set that is a deal or if you like to save and dont we all then check and compare prices here.

Taylor made driver r7. Another observation.
February 12th, 2009Taylor made drivers are good and here is why.
Although Taylor Made is mainly famous for its drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids. One stands out and that is one of my favorites the r7. This Taylor Made golf club is leading the series of drivers at PGA tournaments.

The advancement of the metal wood technology employed by Taylor Made golf clubs make it possible for each player to have a his own club. This metalwood technology created famous clubs in the form of Tour Preferred, Pittsburgh Persimmon, Burner, and Burner Bubble, each is considered a high performance device. With titanium club heads, Taylor Made clubs are very strong but extremely light to use. This is similar to the r7. Read the rest of this entry »
